The Secretary-General said, “Today, the 29th of November, is the anniversary of solidarity with the proud and steadfast Palestinian people, who are facing an unprecedented brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip by the Israeli occupation since the 7th of last October.” He added that the Palestinian people are going through a dangerous phase. The Zionist occupation forces have not stopped committing war crimes against defenseless civilians in the Gaza Strip, using all their lethal weapons, including internationally banned ones such as white phosphorus bombs, to annihilate the Palestinian people without paying attention to the international treaties and laws that forbid this aggression, which has not and will not. It undermines the determination of the Palestinian people and their faith in their cause.” He stressed that the Israeli occupation has not yet learned its lesson, as its army announced that its war on the Gaza Strip will not end except by releasing the detainees and eliminating the Palestinian resistance, at a time when the Palestinians are proving day after day that their cause will not end unless By liberating every inch of their land, and that their resistance was and will remain vibrant until the end of the occupation and the liberation of Palestinian prisoners from prisons.
The Secretary-General said, “As a result of the brutal Israeli occupation aggression against the Gaza Strip, approximately 16,000 were martyred and 35,000 others were injured, most of them children and women, not to mention 6,500 missing women who are still under the rubble and rubble, including more than 4,700 children and women. Benaissa pointed out that the General Secretariat of the Arab Lawyers Union issued a statement immediately after the Israeli occupation launched its brutal aggression against the Gaza Strip, in which it declared its condemnation of these massacres, and that it was preparing a file of war crimes committed by the occupation to submit it to the International Criminal Court to hold the occupation accountable for the heinous crimes it committed against the Palestinians. The Secretary-General of the Arab Lawyers Union affirmed that taking this legal measure by resorting to the International Criminal Court is an expression of the Union’s absolute solidarity with the Palestinian people.
